How is negative and inaccurate credit information removed from my credit report?
Through our "Credit Audit and Verification" process, we have realized a legal means for addressing flawed consumer credit reports. Congress has provided consumers the right to challenge information that is deemed to be inaccurate, unverifiable, or obsolete and the difference of having an experienced consumer law attorney working for you through this process is invaluable and will make all the difference in your life and your financial future moving forward.

Is the Credit Audit and Verification process legal?
Absolutely! Your affiliated attorney facilitates the "Credit Audit and Verification" process on behalf of our members. Obviously, if that process was illegal, a licensed attorney would not be the one to facilitate the service. The Fair Credit Reporting Act was designed specifically to provide a way for consumers to force the removal of erroneous, outdated and unverifiable information from their report. Additionally, The Credit Repair Organization Act was passed to govern this process. If providing credit advice (and audits and verification) were illegal, there would be no laws governing how to operate within the law.

How much does the Credit Audit and Verification service cost?
"Credit Audit and Verification" is just one important and powerful component of the many that are used to implement our "Financial and Credit-Direction and Protection" plan. Attorney fees referred to as "correction fees" are only $5.00 per deleted or corrected item per credit report and are paid directly to your affiliated attorney and ONLY AFTER THE MEMBER IS NOTIFIED BY THE CREDIT BUREAU OF THE RESULTS.

How is the $5 correction fee paid?
You can mail a check or money order payable to your attorney with your updated report reflecting the corrections received. You may also pay by credit or debit card.

Does NACRA's Credit Audit and Verification offer a guarantee?
It is important to understand that there can be no absolute guarantees involved in any legal matter. As in a court of law, an attorney could never guarantee that a judge would rule in their favor, however, your affiliated attorney will work diligently, professionally, and competently to accomplish the goal of "Credit Audit and Verification"; which is Delete, Delete, Delete!

How long does the Credit Audit and Verification process take?
Each credit case varies significantly. The most important variables are how involved your credit problem is and the responsiveness of the credit bureaus. It would be improper for a professional organization to say exactly how long an individual case would require. If you forward your credit reports in a timely manner, you should see exciting progress within the first 60 days. However, it is important to stress, this is not a wave of a magic wand, but a process that has to be followed by law. Howard Beales, the former director of the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection stated, "Consumers who find themselves with less than perfect credit history should be weary of anyone offering a quick fix to the problem. Mistakes can be corrected, but there is no substitute for time and self discipline to improve your credit report". The bottom line is if you want to have incredible results in this process, then patience and persistence are two of the most important keys to obtaining Incredible Success in restoring a damaged credit report.

How Do I receive my benefits?
Once you download your membership agreement, pay for your subscription, and the 3 day right of rescission period and payment have been processed, our fulfillment department will then send out via USPS, your membership manual directory and membership card. Your manual will contain detailed information about NACRA’s benefits and services as well as contact info to your affiliated attorney to start the “Credit Audit and Verification” process.

Is there an actual attorney and/or paralegals I can talk to?
Yes. You will be dealing directly with your affiliated attorney and their Law Firm for the "Credit Audit and Verification" process. Upon receipt of your membership package, you will have detailed information regarding the process and contact info for that attorney.

Who qualifies for the family or domestic partner plans?
Anyone living under the same roof, regardless of marriage status or sexual orientation, qualifies for the family or domestic membership plans.

Can I attempt the "Credit Audit and Verification" process on my own?
Absolutely, you can do your own “Credit Audit and Verification. You can also represent yourself in court, change your own oil, and build a new deck on your house. If you haven't already attempted to do so, the level of frustration you will have during the process will be incredible because fixing errors in a credit report is no small task.
We have realized a legal means for addressing flawed consumer credit reports. The difference of having an experienced consumer law attorney working for you through this process is invaluable and will make all the difference in your life and your financial future moving forward.

How will I be updated as to the progress on my credit audit account?
Credit reports will be sent to you from each of the three major credit reporting agencies regularly. As you receive them, you will see items being removed from your report. Your attorneys’ law firm will also be in contact with you via email as disputes are processed to keep you abreast of where the process stands. Should you have questions regarding your progress, you may always contact the attorney and/or paralegal directly.

What are my responsibilities as a member?
For the “Credit Audit and Verification” process, you must make sure that you always provide the attorney with all correspondence from the bureaus or collector. It is imperative and allows the process to move along. The attorney cannot work on your behalf if the correspondence is not forwarded to his office. You can scan and email, fax, or send regular mail to the attorneys’ office or you can hand deliver as well. For the other benefits and services provided by NACRA, we strongly advise that you take advantage of all our benefits and services in order to facilitate your “Financial and Credit-Direction and Protection” plan.
Some services will be on an “as needed” basis such as credit reference letter or the free credit card search engine. Should you have any questions, always contact member services for more information.

What happens if I choose a payment option and stop paying?
Should you not make a payment as scheduled and do not call in so we can assist you, we will suspend your benefits and services. We will NEVER EVER send a past due account to a collector or report you to a credit bureau. Once the payments commence again, then your membership benefits and services will restart.
